OUR FOUNDATION

Habitat Nature Parks Foundation

Established in 2019 as the nonprofit arm of Habitat XR, the Foundation blends environmental education, immersive technology, and behavioural science.

The Habitat Nature Parks Foundation exists to repair one of the greatest systemic crises of our time: disconnection from the natural world.

We develop and fund physical and hybrid immersive experiences that encourage ecological understanding and empathy without impacting natural habitats.

OUR APPROACH

Rebuilding the human–nature relationship.

In an age of shrinking wilderness, it is harder and more expensive than ever in history to access pristine nature and learn enough about it to care.

The foundation's mandate is to democratize access to nature through immersive technologies to ensure that humans see themselves as an ever-important part of our natural ecosystems.

We do this by creating:
Immersive public spaces and programmes designed to strengthen connection with the natural world.
Experiences grounded in science, ethics, and impact created to support measurable stewardship and behaviour change
Access without barriers: bringing nature-connected immersive experiences to wide audiences through hybrid physical / digital approaches.

The FutureZoo is the world’s first immersive conservation centre of its kind, blending wildlife, technology, and storytelling to spark action and protect what matters.

A physical space that becomes a portal to the rest of the wild world, it democratises access to immersive tech and therefore democratises access to nature.

OUR PROGRAMS

WILD VOICES

Using advanced 3D techniques and conversational artificial intelligence (AI), Wild Voices is a mobile app series that brings a scientifically informed, lifelike animal into users’ homes, classrooms, and offices.

Designed to foster respect, not risky imitation, digital proximity enables emotional closeness and deeper understanding without placing real animals under stress or encouraging unsafe physical encounters. The app is intentionally designed to reinforce real wildlife boundaries.

Wild Voices is an evolving series of immersive species experiences and part
of our broader mission to use immersive technology to foster empathy and spark action at scale.
